You Don’t Owe Them No Meeting

πŸ“– Nehemiah 6:1–9

Not every invitation deserves your attention, and not every accusation deserves an explanation.

Nehemiah understood that the goal of the distraction was to get him to come down from the work.

But when you know what God has assigned to your hands, you don’t have to respond to everything fighting for your attention.

Protect your peace. Guard your focus. Keep building.

And when the pressure increases, make Nehemiah’s prayer your own:

“Lord, strengthen my hands.” πŸ™πŸΎ

🌊 WHAT HAS YOUR WEIGHT?

The wind was real.

The waves were real.

The danger was real.

But so was the Word Jesus spoke.

Peter’s problem wasn’t that he saw the wind—it was that what he saw began to carry more weight than what Jesus said.

And fear will do the same thing to us.

Fear doesn’t always have to create false evidence. Sometimes it takes something that is completely true and uses it to convince us of something God never said.

Faith doesn’t require us to ignore the evidence. Faith requires us to interpret the evidence through the One who already spoke.

The wind can speak.

Your circumstances can speak.

Your feelings can speak.

They just don’t get the last word.

So ask yourself today:

What has your weight?

The wind may be real, but it doesn’t deserve your weight. Put your weight back on the Word of the One who called you.

And even if you waver… even if you start to sink…

His grace is still enough to catch you. πŸ™ŒπŸΏπŸ”₯

πŸ“– Sometimes the greatest obstacle between us and Jesus isn’t our situation… it’s everything telling us to stay quiet.

Bartimaeus refused to let the crowd define his future.

He cried louder. He threw off the robe that represented his old identity.

And before he ever received his miracle, his faith moved first.

That’s the challenge for all of us:

• What have you been silent about?

• What crowd have you been listening to?

• What “robe” is God asking you to leave behind?

Faith doesn’t wait until everything makes sense.

Faith acts before certainty arrives.

Praying this week’s message encourages you to keep calling on Jesus, even when others tell you to be quiet.

He still hears desperate faith.

“Jesus stood still.”

Sometimes one cry of genuine faith can stop Heaven’s attention.
