Yesterday, Dr. Johnson reminded us—
What we believe about God before the fire
will determine how we stand in it.
It challenged us to really think about what we’ve already settled in our hearts, before pressure ever shows up.
Because in those moments, we don’t rise to the occasion—we fall back on what we’ve already decided.
Still sitting with that.

Yesterday, Dr. Johnson reminded us that Jesus does not avoid broken places— He walks right into them.
In Luke 7, everyone else saw a funeral, finality, and a grieving mother carrying accumulative loss.
But when Jesus saw her, He interrupted what everyone else thought was over.
And maybe that’s the encouragement some of us needed:
What life tried to bury, God still has His hand on.
What pain tried to finalize, Jesus can still reverse.
Before the procession could make it to the cemetery,
Jesus stepped in and said, “NOT YET.” 🔥

Pain may have a sound… but so does worship.
Can I help somebody real quick?
Anybody can worship when life is going good…
But it takes maturity to worship when you’re hurting.
To worship after the diagnosis.
To worship when the money gets funny.
To worship when obedience still leads to hardship.
In Acts 16, Paul and Silas remind us of something powerful:
Pain does not cancel worship.
🕛 Midnight seasons don’t last forever.
⛓️ God still breaks chains.
🙌🏾 Worship can still exist in the middle of pain.
I’ll bless Him in pain.
Bless Him coming in.
Bless Him going out.
I WILL BLESS HIM NO MATTER WHAT!
📖 Acts 16:22–26

Whew 😮💨🔥
Pentecost happened because a group of people followed instructions long enough to watch Heaven move.
You may not fully understand what God is doing… but can you stay, trust, and obey anyway?
Don’t fail in the wait. 🙏🏿

🌙 No matter what caused the darkness,
God has already scheduled your morning. ☀️

Resurrection Sunday Message - Matthew 25:5-6
Yesterday, Dr. Troy showed us that even the tomb has something to say at Calvary… and it reminded us:
• If Heaven didn’t authorize it, it can’t hold you
• What looked like the end was just God setting the stage
• Jesus doesn’t dwell where death is a lifestyle
• The stone wasn’t moved for Him… it was moved for us
• What you thought was dead might just be sleeping
The tomb is empty… and so are the limits!

There are moments in life where you feel unseen… overlooked… forgotten. Genesis 16:6-13
But the truth is—you are not invisible to God.
He sees you.
He saw you.
He never left you.
He heard your cry.
Hagar didn’t build anything… she simply named the place where God met her.
Maybe it’s time for you to do the same.

Yesterday, Dr. Troy reminded us that nothing about this moment is accidental. Esther 4:9-14
God has strategically positioned you for such a time as this.
Where you are and why you’re there are finally meeting.
Walk in courage.
Embrace your responsibility.
Trust God’s timing.
This moment has your name on it.

Sufficient Grace - 2 Corinthians 12:9 - God’s Grace Is Sufficient.
1 -Weakness will keep you Grounded
2 - My weakness exposes me to me
3 - My weakness gives me reason to love others tenderly
4 - My weakness will drive me closer to God
No matter what you’re facing.
No matter what you’re carrying.
No matter how weak you may feel.
Yesterday, Pastor Troy reminded us that weakness doesn’t disqualify us — it draws us closer to God.

Babylon is not the End of My Story - Jeremiah 29:11
1 - Plans are for welfare and not for evil
2 - He promises to give you a Future
3 - He promises to give you Hope
Sometimes life takes us places we never planned to go.
Places that feel unfamiliar… uncomfortable… even lonely.
The people of Israel knew that feeling. They found themselves in Babylon, far from home, wondering if God’s promises had somehow come to an end.
But through the prophet Jeremiah, God reminds them:
“I know the plans I have for you… plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
One of the powerful insights from today’s message was that the Hebrew word for hope paints the picture of a cord or rope placed in our hands.
In other words, even when life feels like Babylon, God hasn’t left us there alone.
He places a cord of hope in our hands and says, Hold on.
Because Babylon may be a chapter in your story…
but it is not the end of your story.
Reflection: What “Babylon” season in your life is God asking you to hold on to hope in right now?

Confidence While Waiting - Psalm 27:12-14
Nuggets to get you through this tough season:
1 - You must have confidence in knowing
2 - Wait with expectation
3 - Be strong
Waiting seasons can feel long… uncertain… and sometimes even discouraging.
But the Psalmist reminds us that waiting on God is not weakness — it’s faith in action.
A few nuggets from today’s message:
• Have confidence in what you know about God.
• Wait with expectation.
• Be strong.
Even in the waiting, God is strengthening our hearts and reminding us that His timing is perfect.
“Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart.” — Psalm 27:14
💭 Reflection: What situation in your life right now requires you to trust God while you wait?

“It Won’t Work." - Isaiah 54:17
1 - We may be attacked, but we are not destroyed
2 - We may be accused, but we are not condemned
3 - Through seasons of less, we don't lose our conventual identity
4 - I'm still covered, chosen, connected
Even in the face of opposition, we stand on God’s promise:
-
We may be attacked, but we’re not destroyed.
-
We may be accused, but we’re not condemned.
-
And even in seasons of loss, we do not lose our covenantal identity in God.
Life will try to shake you, pressure you, and make you question who you are… but our identity is not in our circumstances — it’s in Him.
So no matter what you’re facing, encourage yourself:
You are still covered. You are still chosen. You are still connected.
And because of that… it won’t work. 🔥
Reflection Question:
What situation in your life do you need to declare “it won’t work” over this week?

The Power of an Unimpressive Entrance - John 12: 12-22
1 - He came to fulfill, not to impress
2 - Regardless of how he showed up and what he rode, Jesus was clear on Who He Was
3 - Jesus is in the business of using what other people see as insignificant
4 - The donkey was untamed.... until Jesus put His full Weight on it!
Jesus didn’t come to impress—He came to fulfill.
And even in what looked small, overlooked, and insignificant… He revealed His power.
The same God who rode in on a donkey is the same God who uses what others overlook.
💭 What if the very thing you think is insignificant…is the very thing God wants to use?
We were untamed… until He put His weight on us. 💙🙌
